Titan is a premier watch brand which is one of its kind in India. It is part of the Titan group and was set up in the year 1984 in Chennai. About HTSE watches
Titan HTSE watches are a recent addition to the Titan brand. This sub brand was launched in July 2011 and is known as high tech self energized watches. These watches thus have futuristic designs and are self energized and light powered watches. The concept of having watches which can be self sufficient power wise is revolutionary. These watches can be charged by any light which have power of 200 lux and upwards. Thus even a candle light can be sufficient to charge such a watch.
Features of HTSE watches
The designs of these watches are also unique. The watches are designed based on similar systems which are self energized. Examples are space stations, space ships and satellites. These watches are thus the epitome of the latest technology and are targeted for the urban male who are tech savvy and would appreciate the complexity and advance features of such watches.
Other features of the watches include cases whose contours are geometrically shaped and the colors are distinctly anthracite. The dials are saucer shaped and perforated which lends to the distinctiveness of HTSE designs. The models are priced around Rs 6495 upto Rs. 10995 and the initial collection has ten distinct styles. This brand has been launched in twelve cities in India and is available in all World of Titan showrooms.
There are various functionalities which are unique to HTSE watches. The Quick Start Function key is to enable the watch to start from dead state and it gets started in ten to twenty seconds. The Sleep Mode is another function which allows one to put the watch on power saving mode and this increases the shelf life of the batteries; again, End of Life indicator shows when the battery needs to be charged and Over charge prevention is to warn users that the batteries are being excessively charged. The Time set warning function is another feature of these watches.
HTSE models
There are various models which would interest urban men immensely. The Quadrant model for instance, come in a stainless steel case, has 24 hours and seconds indicated by rotating discs. There are two models, one in black and one in light titanium. The PU strap and the serrated bezel ring are other unique features of this watch.
Sovereign is a similar model which comes in light titanium and black bezel as well as rose gold and black bezel. The watch comes in a stainless steel case with a leather strap.
Expedition is a simpler design which comes in dark gun metal color. It has a date by disc indicator and a crown which comes with a PU cover. The simple, round watch comes with a leather strap.
Quadro is another basic design in this range which consists of a date and day indicator and has a rectangular frame. The watch comes in IP black or stainless steel.
The watch models might not be many in this range but each model features high technology and sophisticated features which make them exclusive.
